The Governor of Nangahar, Mr. Ziaulhaq Amarkhil, Director of Public Health, the members of Disabled Associations, Representatives from SCA and other NGOs participated in the ceremony.
The built building has 18 rooms, 3 big halls and providing services in Orthopedic, Physiotherapy and in component workshop to the people.
During the ceremony, the Nangarhar governor praised the quality services of Swedish Committee for Afghanistan and added that the committee providing transparent services to Afghans.
“Swedish Committee for Afghanistan is being with the Afghan people since past four decades. We sincerely appreciate quality services of SCA. The doctors and employees who are working here, are our heroes” Said Zaiulhaq Amarkhil.
Meanwhile, SCA’s representative thanked from the comprehensive cooperation of relevant departments in implementation of the project.
“SCA is providing humanitarian services in Disability, Education, Rural Development and Health sectors for the people of Afghanistan. Our main goal is providing neutral humanitarian services in the country,” said Engineer Abdul Ahad Samoon, head of JRMO.
SCA’s staff members from Disability Program also addressed the ceremony by sharing information about the services provided by the Physical Rehabilitation Center through a presentation.
