SCA Background

The Swedish Committee for Afghanistan (SCA) has been working in Afghanistan since 1982, presently managing development programmes concerning Health, Education, Rural Livelihoods and Community Governance, with a total annual budget of roughly USD 40 million. The total number of staff is around 5,500. During the last 10 years SCA has undertaken a change process moving from a primarily humanitarian service delivery approach towards more of a developmental role, putting increasing emphasis on capacity development, rights-based programming and outcome orientation. The mission of SCA is to empower individuals, communities and local organizations, primarily in rural areas and with particular focus on women, girls, boys and vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities, so that they may participate fully in society and influence their own development. Scope of work:

The Female guard will maintain security and security procedures at the office, she will strictly follow guard procedure and ensure frisking of lady staff and visitors entering and leaving the compound . The female guard report to Chief Guard of security unit.

Qualifications & Requirements:

At least basic education (Reading and Writing), graduates of 12 grade are preferred
At least one-year experience in NGO or government at relevant field
Local resident is preferred
Fluent in Dari and Pushto and basic English language is an advantage
Honest , active and well mannered
Be polite but also strict and stern in ensuring adherence by staff and visitors to respect the security rules of SCA
Be punctual and active
Good in communication

Main Responsibilities:

To be on duty according to the schedule
Frisking of female staff members, visitors and their bags, brief case and any other thing with them
Escort visitors or guests when asked by supervisor
To keep the location neat and clean
Apply and take into consideration and adhere to all the items and procedures for the security guard’s duty stated in guard job description, in case of any clarification contact chief guard or security senior officer
