Activities

NMA will be engaged in number of activities, few are reflected below:

– Develop Strategic and Operational Plan for the alliance
– Play a hub link role between governmental and non-governmental organization to streamline men and boys engagement into organizational activities and governmental policies;
– Work with the Afghanistan Government to integrate men and boys engagement approach in the existing laws, policies and national plan of actions
– Advocate and support Government of Afghanistan in developing National Men and Boys Engagement Policy 
– Building capacity of Alliance members/organizations in the area of gender transformative approaches to engage men and boys and mobilizing boys and men, along with women and girls, on advocacy for gender equality and ending gender discrimination
– Compile a database of the organizations having expertise in the area of men and boys engagement programming and develop linkages building between them
– Organize and conduct training and capacity building meetings, seminars, workshops, conference and constitutional
– Support print, electronic and social media personnel and journalists to promote positive images of men and boys
– Establish linkages with service delivery organizations (lawyers, media, government institutions for victims of gender based violence
